Russia Plane Crash Kills Six

Russian officials say a mid-sized plane crashed in Western Russia on Saturday, killing all six people on board, including two Burmese pilots.

The Emergency Situations Ministry said the Antonov An-148 two-engine jet passenger plane crashed during a training flight in the Belgorod region, about 600 kilometers south of Moscow.

The Burmese embassy in Moscow said it had no information about the crash.

Russian news agencies quoted officials at the plant that built the plane as saying it was eventually to be delivered to Burma.
