tech : More iPad leaks - faster processor, new ports.

With just about 4 hours to go for the launch of Apple's iPad 2, numerous rumours have appeared on the web about the device.

A Chinese website DGtle claims to be in possession of the iPad 2. The images they have uploaded certainly fit the expected hardware specs.

According to the images the iPad 2 is definitely slimmer and also includes 'Facetime'. The images also show a larger loudspeaker, which would surely bump up the audio performance. It looks more rectangular in design and has a curvature in the back.

Gizmocrunch has come up with more startling reports that Amazon.de has prematurely posted the tech specs and release date of iPad 2.

If these specs are to be believed then the iPad 2 will boast of a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a camera and notably a 'Thunderbolt' port for faster data transfers and HD video connectivity. According to the website the iPad 2 has a release date of March 17. As of now the link in question is not working, most probably Amazon has intervened or the link itself was false.

Over the next few hours we will clearly know what the iPad 2 will contain. Who knows, this could just be another fake mock device from Shenzhen and the Amazon report could just be a mistake.
